H I S T O R Y

The second child and only daughter of Triad leader parents, Vienne grew up protected. By her parents as well has her 8 year older brother, and as a result, the two grew up close. By the time Maxwell and Stephanie retired from the syndicate, and Matthew became Shan Chu, Vienne, then 13, decided she would rather stay with her brother than follow her parents into retirement and sure boredom.

An accomplished musician and proper lady from a very young age, Vienne has spent her years since then learning what she could and where she could, and is probably second only to her brother in the inner workings of the 14K, even if Matthew might not be completely aware of just how much she has immersed herself in its activities.

The only one who can pacify her brother successfully, Vienne steps in whenever she sees fit, but prefers to observe and aid Matthew if he comes to her, angry or even upset, offering solace and advice. It has become their dynamic. She is, frankly, her brother's only weak point.

Lately, she has been introduced to the prospect of marriage, but Matthew would never have her marry someone she does not want, and Vienne is content overseeing her brother's lovelife over her own. Andrew is a nice man, isn't he?

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Grown up so sheltered and with endless possibilities, you would expect Vienne to be a shallow and haughty kind of person, but she is anything but. Understanding and patient, she is quick to make friends, and likes mediating in fights. She would be the perfect diplomat if she ever decided that was what she wanted to do with her life, but Vienne is content to let things come as they do, not getting caught in or frustrated by the little things.

A cheerful person by default, Vienne is quick to laugh and smile. Attracted to people that might be rather guarded, she likes to figure them out, but she doesn't do it obviously , it is more like a private puzzle to her.

A P P E A R A N C E

Vienne stands at an impressive 5'5", considerably shorter than her brother, with curly black hair that falls just below her waist. She usually keeps it up and away from her face, except her bangs that are kept short to frame her face. She's slim to the point where she might be considered too much so, but Vienne has always been lithe of build and prefers being able to slip through doors easily.
